Bible Visual Explorer is a free, ad-free study site. It collects as little as possible and never sells your data. This page explains what is stored and why.

Signing in (optional)

You can browse the whole site without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's sign-in service. We use them only to identify your account so your saved items sync across devices. We never receive or store your Google password.

What we store when you're signed in

Items you create — notes, highlights, favourite verses, reading-plan progress, and daily-verse streaks — are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) and tied to your account. You can delete them at any time from within the site, and you can request deletion of your whole account by contacting us.

Feedback

If you submit the feedback form, the message you write is stored so we can read and act on it. Including your email is optional.

Analytics & cookies

We use Plausible for basic, privacy-friendly traffic stats. Plausible is cookieless and does not track or identify individual visitors. The only cookies we set are the ones needed to keep you signed in — there are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Error monitoring

In production we use Sentry to capture technical error reports so we can fix bugs. These reports are about what went wrong in the app, not about you, and are used solely to keep the site working.

Donations

Donations are handled entirely by Ko-fi and PayPal on their own pages. We never see or store your card or bank details. Donations are voluntary gifts toward hosting and development, not a purchase.

Your choices

You can use the site without signing in, delete your saved items individually, or ask us to remove your account and its data. Get in touch through the feedback form.
